Why I joined Stampin’ Up!

My papercrafting journey began 11 years ago when I first started (and fell in love with!) scrapbooking. My Stampin’ Up! journey began about 6 months later, when I first started using (and fell in love with!) Stampin’ Up! products. I joined Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator about 2 ½ years ago, and what a great choice it was! So why did I finally take the plunge and decide to become a Demonstrator rather than a customer? Several reasons!

Stamp Clubs, but when I joined as a Demonstrator, it took the connection to a whole different level. I quickly started my own Cards Classes and now have my own Team Members. It has really made this a joyful journey to have the opportunity to be with others who want to regularly get together for some fun stamping time. So many new friends!

High Tide and Fast and Fabulous Cards Class

High Tide Cards

We had such fun at the July Fast and Fabulous Cards Class creating these two cards using the High Tide Stamp Set. So summery! Of course, these are just two of the three designs we make in this monthly Cards Class.

This is one of the very first stamp sets I thought about when I first heard about the Stamparatus. It really helps stamp these perfectly!

The Stamparatus is TRULY one of the best stamping tools ever! We use it at almost every event, so come try it out if you want to know more!

This card was created using Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Cardstock and Stampin’ Ink Pads.

I added a small strip of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper because it coordinated so perfectly with this waterfront theme.

For the second card, I used Crumb Cake Cardstock for the base and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Ink for the 2 step lighthouse stamp.

The Pacific Point Cardstock is stamped with a stamp from the Artisan Textures Stamp Set from the Garden Impessions Suite. The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point. I love this sentiment!

High Tide is a fabulous stamp set with beautiful images and great sentiments!

Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper

August started off as one of the coolest on record here in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, which was quite appropriate, since the Christmas Card Club kicked off on August 2nd! We made 4 cards and all the ladies were delighted to get a head start on their Christmas cards.

Under the Mistletoe Christmas Cards

We created 2 each of the 4 designs using both Under the Mistletoe and Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Papers.

This card was actually created using the Sheet Music Background Stamp. The Stamparatus is an absolute life saver for stamping Background Stamps and really helped in creating the background for the Lovely as a Tree Stamp stamped in Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Ink. It’s mounted on Cherry Cobbler cardstock, so to complete the vintage feel I used a strip of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and a touch of Vintage Lace. Elegant and easy!

I mounted a strip of one of the plaids from the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper. The pine bough and pine cones are from the Christmas Pines Stamp Set and the coordinated Pretty Pines Thinlits. The pine bough is stamped in Shaded Spruce.

This card really shows off the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper! Mounted on Early Espresso cardstock with a Copper Foil strip and a couple of sprigs from the Pretty Pines Thinlits.

The first time I saw this pattern in the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, I knew it would be a perfect starry night background. Combined here with the Night in Bethlehem Stamp and coordinated Thinlits set using Night of Navy, a favorite neutral. The Stamparatus was used to stamp the sentiment and made placement so much easier!
